AquaStress Final Conference and Stakeholders Workshop (Lisbon, PT, 21-23 January 2009) - PARTICIPANTS LIST

The AquaStress Final event was  held in Lisbon (Portugal) on 22-23 January 2009 and included the Stakeholders Workshop and Conference on “Water Stress Mitigation in Europe and Neighbouring Countries”.
The overall objective of the event was to present to a wide audience the AquaStress project results and achievements and to discuss the establishment of a common stakeholder-driven Network on Water Stress Mitigation in Europe and neighbouring countries. During the Conference several keynote speeches have been done by invited experts beside the presentation of AquaStress Final Outputs and some of Case Study experiences and achievements. Final session was dedicated to the formalization of a protocol with stakeholders on the establishment of a Network on Water Stress Mitigation. 
The invited guests to the event included representatives of the European Commission, the United Nations World Water Assessment Program - UNESCO, the Arab Water Council, local stakeholders and other distinguished experts and water professionals.
